Crepe myrtle Hunki 2 m

Hunki is a shrub or a little tree which emanates a Mediterranean feeling. Its height can reach 2-3m. The leaves are elliptical, soft and shiny. The 3-4cm, pink, wide flowers bloom in 10-20cm sympodial panicles from July to the end of September. Hunki loves sunlight and warmth and also well- structured soil. It needs watering regularly, especially while blooming. It forbears frost but you should plant it in a protected area. Hunki’s form depends on how we shape it. Since the new flowers grow on the new shoots, you should just prune the overblown parts, to urge them to produce new flowers. It is a popular ornamental shrub which gives the garden a mesmerizing look through the summer.
